Piero Scaruffi

Who  do you know who is an internationally renowned expert on artificial intelligence, the author of a multi volume history of rock music, the winner of a host of international poetry awards and a  pioneer in the revolutionary new discipline of neuroscience?

The only person we know who fits this profile is Piero Scaruffi, once the head of Artificial Intelligence at Olivetti and now a prolific author on everything from Jethro Tull to the physics of life. Piero is the Leonardo of Silicon Valley. We welcome him to afterTV.

About neuroscience, the late Francisco Varela and all the essays that make up the book Principles of Biological Autonomy, as well as the remainder of Varela's life work would make him a true candidate for the paradigm shift Piero Scaruffi referred to as not existing yet, including his theory of gestalt as it relates to AI. I am a little surprised he did not mention him or, even, Humberto Maturana. Is Piero not familiar with them? If not, I am honored to bring up this point to someone as distinguished as him.
