A photograph of digital democracy

Here's an idyllic image of democracy on the Internet (courtesy of the New York Times). As I explained last week, the Korean demonstrations against  American  beef imports were begun online by social networking schoolgirls worried about catching mad cow disease. Judging from this photo, it looks like a lot of Koreans have already caught the disease.
